CNY Natural Light Portrait Photographer based in Cazenovia, NY

I'm so blessed to be a full-time photographer and business owner in the CNY area.

 

My photography journey started my senior year in a high school photo class.  Although I grew up with a camera in my hands, I never understood the art behind photography.  When I learned about all of the aspects of photography, like the subject, lighting, and composition, it intrigued me.  After winning a Gold Key Portfolio Award at the 2015 CNY Scholastic Art & Writing competition, I knew that photography was something that I should pursue.  I began to think seriously about going to college for photography and starting my own business.

When I graduated high school in June of 2015, I hustled hard at starting my photography business.  I was driven by passion and had big dreams of where I wanted to go.

In the Fall of 2015, I enrolled in college to pursue a bachelor's degree in Photography.  Throughout my four years of college, I built my business part-time.  My classwork focused on fine-art photography, while my business was based on portraits.  I continued to develop both styles throughout college.
 
In May of 2019, I graduated from Cazenovia College with my BFA in Studio Art: Photography.  I was also awarded the coveted Division of Art & Design Award at graduation for my senior capstone, a narrative photography series about my childhood memories.  It validated to me that I was on the right path.  After graduating college, I could finally do what I had dreamed of since high school:  run my photography business full-time.

I love being able to capture important moments in life and celebrate every stage of life!  I am so blessed to have a career that allows me to capture light, love and memories.  I cannot wait to continue to photograph these moments with you!
